Yes I went to MAC again. I actually only went in to get my shade foundation matched but could not resist getting some products.
First let’s talk foundations. I got my shade matched by a lovely makeup artist who really helped me find the perfect color. My MAC foundation shade is NC20, which surprised me a bit because I expeced to be lighter since I always need the lighest shades of foundation at the drugstore.
At the MAC counter I played around with some of the textures of the different kinds of foundation available and descided together with the makeup artist that for me the Studio Sculpt would be the best pick. So I got that one and he also applied it on my face so I could really see how it looked on me (aka Amazing!)
Here are some pictures. I did not swatch it yet because I need to finish my other foundation first and the cap of the MAC studio sculpt is sealed. I am not going to break the seal just for pictures and have it turn bad on me when I finally plan on using it myself every day.

Next I just browsed through all the products that MAC has to offer and kept lingering in front of the MSF’s (Mineral SkinFinishes). I have always loved the Soft and Gentle MSF from MAC, on swatches, on people of different skintones, basicly on everyone. I don’t shop at MAC often as you know because I blog every time. So I figured I might as well get it now and not wait to order it online and have it be more expensive with shippingcosts.
Here are some pictures and swatches of the Soft and Gentle MSF in the sun as well as in the shade
I looked around at the lipsticks and the eyeshadows because those are the fun ones with the biggest color range. I just fell in love with the eyeshadow Coppering and the lipstick Hue. My wallet however didn’t allow me to get both so I chose the eyeshadow over the lipstick. I did this simply for the reason that I have the Hug Me lipstick which is also a neutral color for me. I am not sure if my MAC does “Back to MAC” (if you don’t know what this is, just ask in the comments) but if they do, I will get the lipstick Hue the next time I go to mac with my empty boxes.
Here are some pictures and swatches of the eyeshadow Coppering.
The price in the Netherlands are:

Ze zijn we duurder dan drogisterij make up maar de kwaliteit is het zeker waard.
